From the cozy corners of a family home to living in a wooden box, my life has been a series of unexpected turns.

As a piglet, I basked indoors with my family, a time filled with warmth and affection. But over time I moved outside, into a wooden box which became my home. My blindness and deafness, challenges I was born with, made this transition very challenging.

My life took a dramatic turn at the age of 13, when my family had to move and was unable to take me with them. They found me a new home at Kindred Farm, but the journey to Kindred inside my box was terrifying. Now, however, it’s been 6 months and I am feeling safe and content.

I do prefer to stay in my box and when it rains it is tough for my caregivers and children to hang out with me. But plans are underway to move me to a more comfortable spot inside the barn.
