A specialized therapeutic camp for children who struggle in mainstream community camps.
Camp Maggie Mae is hosted by Kindred Farm in Aldergrove, BC. We are a safe haven for unwanted animals who in turn become therapy animals for our community programs and camps.
Camp Director, Chris Mayworm, MS, RCC, developed this camp for neurodivergent children who need the extra emotional support that other camps cannot provide. It has been created in honour of Maggie Mae, a very special chicken, who also needed extra love and support.
