In 2015, Kindred welcomed 8 rescue rabbits to our farm and we’ve been in love with bunnies ever since. One of these rescue bunnies was a small grey rabbit, we fondly now call “ Smokey”. Smokey was found abandoned in a local park but thankfully found his way to Kindred Farm. Many domestic rabbits find themselves homeless and left in the wild to fend for themselves.
Smokey is one of those rabbits that you shake your head at and wonder “how could anyone have abandoned him?” He is so gentle, friendly and litter box trained. He has a gorgeous luminous gray fur and a cute white nose.
