Barney’s story of kindness (and luck!)
On a cold, grey day in November of 2016, a stray baby boy goat was found walking alone – down a country road in Langley, BC.
Barney was still a very small and very young kid, with tiny little buds on his heads for horns. (Kid’s are juvenile goats!)
His absolute favourite thing is to be groomed. He will move his body around to show you just the right spot, and there’s lots to cover! Barney is a magnificent Saanen goat – the largest goat breed in North America. When he stands on his back legs he is about 7 ft tall and is always ready to play and butt heads!
Barney is fiercely loyal and will protect his two legged and four legged herd. This gives us such peace of mind knowing that he is always looking out for his farm family.
