Bittersweet separation – Sweet Reunion
I feel like I want to do this job forever. On the weekend I got to bring Callie* back to her family. Sue* fled domestic violence just before Christmas and her cat Callie was put into foster care with one of our fab volunteers. Sue didn’t get to visit Callie all that time, which made it a very sweet reunion. Tears of joy and thankfulness. Sue, I wish you and Callie a good life together.
