It begins with the ask, “Could you possibly take a blind pig? He is very overweight and scared.” The idea of rescuing another animal in need was exciting, but before we could do it we had to ensure we had all the resources needed to give the pig a good home and the best care. With that done, Jason (the barn manager) and I went to meet Wilbur, and It was love at first sight. Kindred would become Wilbur’s forever home.
