Temporary Animal Shelter set up to handle resident pets in apartment fire
SALI got the alert Tuesday that there was a fire in a seniors complex and there would be many pets evacuated. On Tuesday, an 85 unit housing complex in North Delta was engulfed in flames. We have heard that everyone thankfully got out in time. This was a pet-friendly rental and Delta Emergency Pet Services and Delta Community Animal Shelter are on site helping to trap pets and set up a temporary animal shelter.
