This was a tough day for me
SALI got a call from a woman fleeing domestic violence who has two cats. This is the toughest case we have had so far. She is in 2nd stage long term housing with her two children and two cats. She has been told that the cats have got to go. This has been a very traumatic time for her and a time when she actually needs her pets the most!
SALI offers short-term fostering and one of our fabulous volunteers has her cats for one month to give her a chance to find family or friend that can take them. Maybe SALI will find a long-term foster for her…….
