the 12 days of kindness

let’s go

Kindness starts here.

The farm is full of simple acts of care. Animals heal. Children feel safe. Volunteers show up with warm hands and steady hearts.

This December, we are sharing twelve short stories that shine a light on that kindness.

Each day features one of our animals with a new holiday photo and a short story. You can see each animal’s holiday surprise and today’s story by clicking the buttons below.

Each day from December 1st to 12th at 4:30pm, a new animal story appeared below. Plus a few more surprises throughout the season. Come back often and enjoy the kindness.

kindness

Why these stories matter.

Your kindness reaches far beyond these twelve days. Your donations help feed and care for the animals through winter and into the year ahead.

You also help children who come to the farm for healing. They brush cows, sit with rabbits, or walk with ducks. These quiet moments build trust and calm.

A gift of any size helps us give steady care through the seasons. Hay, feed, bedding and vet visits keep our animals safe. Program support lets more children take part in sessions where they feel seen and supported.

impact

How your gift helps.

  • Warm bedding and hay for horses, cows, goat and sheep
  • Feed and safe housing for chickens, ducks and rabbits
  • Vet care for new rescues and long-term residents
  • Program support for children who come to the farm after trauma
  • Upkeep of the barn and grounds so animals and children stay safe

Each dollar helps build a steady year of care.

This year’s goal is $60,000. And thanks to your generosity and kindness, you’ve already raised $20,282!

Please help keep the kindness going throughout 2026 by sharing the 12 Days of Kindness with a friend or by donating below. Visit this page often to see the Kindness Metre rise!
